We had our first doctor appointment with our pediatrician here in Anacortes. She gained some weight since we left the hospital. She was up to 4lbs 11oz's. We were able to stop giving her the supplemented formula feedings and just breastfeed, which is really nice. He will re-weigh her next Thursday at her next appointment and if she hasn't gained as well then we will have to restart it.
She is doing really well. She is starting to look like she is gaining some ounces. She still doesn't really fit into her preemie clothes. They are ridiculously large. The kids are great with her. They fight all the time though about who gets to hold her and how long it is taking when it isn't the others turn. Malea loves to give her hugs and kisses. She was giving her eskimo and butterfly kisses this morning. It was pretty cute.
Finley had her first bath, which she actually enjoyed.
Here are some pictures from this morning. She looks so small in her crib!

She is beautiful!! Chantel, I don't know if you guys even have one near, I don't know if you have ever been there, but, Walmart actually has a lot of tiny preemie clothes, they are cute, but the best part is they are so inexpensive and since this time period doesn't last too long, it may be a good place to look..? It seemed like it took Hannah forever to fit in her newborn clothes, but then before you know it they are too small! Anyway, thanks for the pics! XOXOX
So glad to hear that she is at home now! I love the stratigically placed washcloth in the tub photo...
Oh my word! I just love her! She looks soo tiny in her crib. I want to see her soon. :(
I love her little expressions!! So cute! I am so glad you are happy and home!

What a sweet pea! I love her little froggie legs in the bath tub! I can't believe how small she is.
I just got out our infant carseat yesterday and adjusted the straps so its ready for a newborn - crazy how little they are! Don't your older kids feel like mooses in comparison!
So glad to know you're home and all is going well! Wishing all the extra moments of sleep you can get!
Chantel, it was so great to see you at Mom's Coffee Break yesterday! I'm amazed that you made it - and seemed so calm and relaxed! Finley is an absolute doll, even more beautiful in person than in these great photos. Her smile is just precious! Congratulations on her homecoming - we'll be bringing you a meal soon. :)
